For the fans of Lightning Mcqueen and Mater, June 24 is going to be another special day when they are going to enjoy thrilling experience of watching Cars2, sequel of 2006 released Cars, in which Mcqueen and Mater take part in grand prix to prove it as being the fastest cars and face deadly competition from world’s fastest cars, secret agents, criminals and racing competitor all over the world. (However, this release date is only for US while UK viewers have to wait till July).

This is going to be another extravagant affair from Pixar and Walt Disney Pictures.

With only one month is left for its release, the fans are waiting for its release eagerly. In fact, they are pinning a lot of expectations as far as adventure and gripping story of earlier smash hit movie Cars is concerned. With almost same team behind the Cars 2, the viewers are going to witness an altogether new experience of entertainment. This is the second Pixar film, after Toy Story, to have a sequel which makes it more interesting. The movie is slated to be released in US on 24th June and on 22nd July on United Kingdom. Earlier the release of Cars 2 was scheduled for a summer 2012 release, but Pixar advanced the release date up by almost a year. It is an American 3- D, animated film Walt Disney Pictures will distribute. Pixar Animation Studios have produced it. It will be released in IMAX 3D, RealID 3D, Disney Digital 3D and 2D.

John Lasseter & Brad Lewis have co-directed Cars 2. The story has been written by John Lasseters himself (in fact he nurtured the idea of cars 2 during the promotion tour of cars) and its screenplay has been written by Ben Queen. The movie has already raised the hopes for the Car movie fans. Released trailers and small details about the plot have raised their hopes further. The sequel focuses on the strong chemistry between champion race car Lightning McQueen & Mater and their quest to compete and become fastest car. Here they move overseas to participate in the World Grand Prix. The entire journey is full of surprises and potholes when Mater is involved in international espionage. While supporting McQueen in this high class race, the Mater faces tough situation while towing line in high level secret espionage mission. It takes him on high speed hunt through the Europe and Japan Streets while he is followed by friends and the world. The movie has colorful all new cars cast which comprise secret agents, international racing participants and frightening baddies.

Three voice actors associated with original film Cars have passed away which include George Carlin, Paul Newman and Joe Ranft. Controversy over the story idea shrouded as writers alleged that original idea has been copied. Matter is pending. The views got the film’s first teaser trailer available on DVD and Blu-ray editions of Toy Story3 and pixar’s YouTube Channel. Later on the first full length film trailer was launched on the same site. This year on March two more new trailers also released on Pixar’s YouTube channel and Walt Disney Studios.
